Overall, it was another great book in the scythe series. Likable, well developed characters and other evil really dislikable characters. This is one of the books, where I actually really dislike the villains, an unusual occur because often times the protagonist isn't developed well, compared to the antagonist. This was packed with suspense, action and adventure. I have to admit though I really disliked the ending, not because it was random and made no sense with the book, but because it was unexpected. Looking forward to the next book!Overall, it was another great book in the scythe series. Likable, well developed characters and other evil really dislikable characters. Overall, I really didn’t like this book. It wasn’t particularly interesting as the plot was boring and had little to no action. The author tried to add some ideas that he though would add to the story, but it ended up taking away from the story instead. Additionally, none of the characters were likable as they were either generally not great people, or were vastly ignorant. As another comment already stated, there was little character development and all of the characters were extremely annoying. The only ok part is the ending and that the author didn't add on any more chapters as that would have made this book worse than it already is.Overall, I really didn’t like this book. This was actually a great book! I have to admit at first I was skeptical, as the begging of this novel is pretty boring and not great, but as the book goes on it is truly awesome. There is suspense as well as the author does a great job explaining each of the characters and their personalities. All of the characters were a bit annoying at first, but after you got to know some of them more your opinion of them changed. As another comment stated, it is packed with symbolism and imagery. In addition, the ending was great. Overall an awesome book! This was actually a great book! Overall, this was surprisingly good book! To be honest, I'm not a big fan of most Shakespeare's pieces, due to the fact that they are hard to understand or generally have annoying characters. For this piece though, I was pleasantly surprised! It had lots of suspenseful and dramatic moments and the characters were quite well developed. This book also included a strong female character which is not that common in Shakespeare's books. It also included fantasy elements like witches which made the piece way better. The only complaints I have, is that even though it is easier to understand than Shakespeare's other pieces, it is still written in Shakespearean. Additionally, Macbeth's character arc doesn't seem completely realistic, but given the book is about witches and prophecies, it isn't too far fetched. I would say this is the best of Shakespeare's pieces.Overall, this was surprisingly good book! This was an overall ok movie, not great not awful. This was a horror movie centred around a guy named Elliot who by completing 13 challenges could get rich, but he had to complete all the challenges or he’d loose all his money. Due to this being a phone call horror movie requiring the person to do all the challenges, this movie was very predictable as obviously the last challenge was the hardest, and the first few challenges were pretty easy. Also, he obviously had to do the challenges or there wouldn’t be a movie and as stated before their was of course a catch to these 13 challenges. Along with it being predictable, a few characters were introduced when there was really no point to them being produced as even though it kind of made sense during the end, the movie would have probably been better without the characters. Additionally, it was weird how hidden cameras were watching Elliot the entire time as this would be impossible. Besides this though the acting was really well done and you could see how the Elliot changed over the course of the challenges and the challenges were still interesting to watch even if they were predictable. Also, near the end they managed to tie some of he confusing parts up which definitely helped to make the movie better. Personally though, I didn’t like the ending as it just seemed out of place and didn’t seem like what a person who already did most of the challenges would do in that situation, but that is just my opinion based on other horror movies I’ve watched. This was still an interesting movie though and some challenges were still interesting and slightly different from what I initially expected. Overall ok movie. This was an overall ok movie, not great not awful. This was a good movie! The movie did a pretty good adaption of the book demonstrating how Scout progressed through her childhood and how she developed through life. I understand that the movie could take all of the book into account, but then why bring up people like Mrs. Dubrose, Calpurnia and Ms. Maudie if they aren’t going to be devolved like in the book. Additionally, some scenes such as Jem finding the items in the tree or when Jem, Scout and Dill were escaping after trying to look into the Radley house were not entirely correct. Also, Scout wasn’t even seen in school and Aunt Alexandra wasn’t even seen what so ever, which is a character that changes throughout the book. This being said there were definitely sciences better in the movie than in the book. Jem, Scout, Atticus, Tom Robinson, both Walter Cunningham’s and Bob Ewell were all portrayed very well and you could clearly see their personatlies and how Jem and Scout devolved. Also, Calpurnia, Mrs. Dubrose, Miss Maudie though were portrayed very well even besides the fact that they dint have much of a role in the movie. The rest of the movie though was able to get the point across about how prejudiced and racist people were in the past (and unfortunately still are), and how unfair it is that in life good people that don’t do anything to harm others are treated such as Tom Robinson or Arther/Boo Radley. All in all though this was really well done and was a decently good adaption of the book. This was a good movie! This was a surprisingly really well done movie! I say surprisingly because I’ve heard from many others that The Hobbit is boring, drags onto long and the characters suck, but so far that is definitely not the case. The characters all seem to have different personalities and there personalities can be explained like Bilbo has never been away from home before so no wonder he’s scared at first compared to Gandalf that has explored many places. All of the actors did a truly great job and it was cool that all of the places the hobbit is filmed in are real places in New Zealand. Also, it was exciting to see Gandalf actually do wizard stuff!! In this movie he can actually do stuff cooler than destroying a bridge a lava monster is on and producing a bright light that blinds people as he can set stuff on fire or summon other creatures to get him help. What annoys me though is that somehow in Lord of the Rings Gandalf apparently gets more powerful even though compared to in The Hobbit he can barely do anything. Plus, the griffins would have helped a lot in Lord of the Rings even though then it would have been a good movie. The only problem with The Hobbit it seems is that they didn’t make it coincide with Lord of the Rings. The movie has adventures though and cool battles. Character development is also shown. Furthermore, it is cool that each creature such as elves, hobbits, dwarves and wizards all have personality traits different from one another. Overall great movie, highly recommend to others!!This was a surprisingly really well done movie! This is a very dark, disturbing movie, but it is definitely interesting and teaches valuable lessons. Some valuable lessons include demonstrating a difference one person can make, that people can change and enhances the idea that everyone deserves to be treated as a human no matter who they are. It is truly unfortunate how people used to be treated but at least people aren’t treated this badly in some asylums anymore. The only annoying bit about this movie was that it is not very similar to how this book portrays the characters as in the movie all the characters seem more like idiots (excluding McMurphy) compared to different personalities like in the book. Also, how McMurphy was shown in the book is different at parts than in the movie, some funny parts in the books are left out, in some of the scenes Chief Bromden isn’t even shown even though in the book everything is being told through his eyes and the movie leaves out parts of Chief Bromden’s life. Even though this is the case it is still a great movie with great actors that help get the main ideas of the book across in a movie format. All in all this is a very disturbing movie but also very well done as it teaches you what an asylum In the past would have looked like. This is a very dark, disturbing movie, but it is definitely interesting and teaches valuable lessons. This was a pretty good book! This book includes a quiz to tell you what your primary personality colour is, what your secondary colour is and to determine if your an introvert or extrovert. This book then introduces you to personality traits of your colour and jobs associated with this colour. It then goes ahead to tell you how to recognize if someone is another colour. This book however doesn’t tell you what each career is like or give an insight into them. Additionally, this book wasn’t organized in the best most efficient way possible but you could still interpret this book. Overall decent book. This was a pretty good book!
