Unless intolerance of the human sexual spectrum completely disables your appreciation for great film; the straights out there would benefit by opening their minds to this excellent flic. There is nothing graphic on display here to feel squeamish about anyhow; certainly nothing that the gay/trans community had to endure from the 70's/80's television straight-sex product. This actually comes off as an at-times tense thriller/crime film, with a romantic element that breaks boundaries- boundaries of the mind; the politic; and the heart. This film manages to make commentary on the natures of exploitation, wealth, and particularly on the idea of "property" and how those who have been dis-entitled can come to lack a recognition for this idea. Great acting is what carries this work; propelled by an excellent Eastern-European-tinged EDM soundtrack that just defies you to join the party. What a party it is, too; as the multi-culture-clash of modern free-market Europe's have's and have-not's come together with the at-times nail-biting moments that characterize a classic thriller. A beautiful work.
