Is someone imitating Jack the Ripper in modern London? Whoever it is seems to have a link to Lacey Flint, a young constable. Indeed, the first victim dies in her arms. Soon she is caught up in the investigation where her knowledge of the Ripper crimes proves invaluable. But suspicions arise. Does she know too much? Why does the killer seem fixated on her and what ties all the murders together. The truth is that Lacey has a secret that answers some of those questions. Should she run, or prevent the next murder? This is the first Lacey Flint novel and it is a compelling read. However, it is not for the faint of heart. The murder descriptions are very graphic, and the language is far from pure. The book is hard to put down, but definitely aimed at adults.
