Good read even if it was a bit predictable. The author showed real insight as to how a person copes with a life changing injury.

I absolutely LOVED this book! I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reminder that life is a journey filled with ups and downs. If you appreciate the highs and try to find the bright spots where you can during the lows - you'll be just fine.

Margaret Jacobsen has worked hard to achieve her MBA and land her dream job. Her fear of flying is overridden by her boyfriend Chip's enthusiasm to take her up in a Cessna to propose marriage. His inexperience ends in a crash sending Margaret into hospital with severe injuries.

Margaret's journey through recover is both heartbreaking and inspiring. Her family rally around her, hospital staff and her physical therapist support and challenge her. Margaret comes to some major decisions through learning to be vigilant with her thoughts and decisions, a life lesson we all need to learn.

A wonderfully moving novel.

Well written with believable dialogue, sympathetic characters & a plot line that holds all the way through. Similar to Jojo Moyes's Me Before You but more hopeful.

"When you don't know what to do for yourself, do something for somebody else." That pretty much sums up the novel.

This was such a good story. A tragic accident lands Margaret in hospital with more than she can cope with.

Although some parts are predictable, I love that I ended the book feeling more grateful for what I have.

Author used "visceral" too many times...haha just saying
