Watchable. Van Damme has not aged well. The fight sequences need work.

(Not in China but in Manila, Philippines) Jean-Claude still looked good at 54 and doing the impossible on the big screen. A too-crazy incredible super-human story with a decent narrative structure but felt disjointed from scene to scene.

Every once and a while Van Damme is in a movie that you go " why wasn't this one released here". This is one of them. Since his role in the expendables that was sooo very good, he has not had the deserved recognition. And yes, he can still stretch his legs one end to the next as seen in one fantastic action stunt.
A must see for Van Damme fans.

George: Her fate is in God's hands now.
Deacon: No, it's not in God's hands. It's in our hands.
George: I love that child more than anything in this world.
Deacon: She's going to die tonight. Would you give your life for her?
George: God, of course I would.
Deacon: Yes, your life. But not your soul. Would you kill to save her even if it damned your soul?
Kung: It's amazing. Once you have money to throw around people start returning your calls.
Deacon: Kidnap and rescue is all fine. But what I'm really good at? It's killing people.
Ana: It must be hard.
Deacon: No, that's the scary thing. Killing it's easy. Living with it, that's hard.

Kung: They left money, medication. Smart. This way they can claim that you sold it to them.
Kung: You do not know what your brother does for a living.
George: We're not close. I knew he had served with the French special forces but I don't know what he's done since then.
Kung: Your brother is a K and R expert.
George: K and R? Kung: Yes. Kidnap and rescue. He's someone that is hired to bring back a kidnapped loved one home
safe and sound.
George: You know what? You're a kidnapper and you're a criminal. So tell me, what do you know about God?
Deacon: Perhaps nothing. We are taught to thank God for the good things that happen to us. Why then can we not blame him for the bad things?
