Add a CommentIt's been decades since I'd watched this Rankin & Bass classic. I was surprised to see that it's not actually a Christmas tale, but an end-of-winter / Groundhog Day story.
While the stop animation woodland creatures are mega-cute, there are a few things that might make this a bit scary for sensitive kids - characters end up chained in a dungeon in one scene, and the villain is pretty creepy.
