This book was very catchy and fun to read. Once you start reading it it is very hard to put it down. Its about a girl named Katie and how fragile her friendships get and it involves money through a game called "Gotcha!". Before the game gotcha she had a lot of friends, but then when the game came in their ways no one could trust anyone not even their loyal friends.

It was a catchy and fun-to-read book. It talks about how fragile friendships will become when it comes to money. Through the game "gotcha", we can see lots of betrayals between best friends and how only real friends stay with you no matter what.
The game seems fun to read about, but not quite a good idea to actually playing it because according to the book people do everything to get the beads, even being suspended or setting up friends.
It looks like a fun game, but to me, it seems like a friendships-breaking game more.

I just finished Gotcha last night.
I may ask the friend that recommended it, tough, why they had to put me through so much emotional pain. This book just broke my heart, but I just kept coming back for more.

So over all, i guess it was pretty good.

While I did enjoy this book, I think it gets more praise than it deserves. I have read many books better than this one, but I know that there are books worse than this one too. I'd say this book is about the middle. I can't rate it that high because until about halfway through, I didn't really like it. The main character, who also narrates the story is quite rude, selfish, whiny and annoying. She gets better later, but for the first third to half of the book, I could barely stand her. It is after that first half that things get more exciting and interesting and I wanted to find out what happened. During the time that I wasn't enjoying it, the only thing that kept me reading was that I wanted to find out who's name Katie had.
In the end, I think this book was worth my time, but definitly not one I'd want to read again or give to somebody as a gift. I might say it's a good read, but definitly not worth your money. Not a must-read, but good anyway.
