Ideas and inspiration for accessing the tools and learning accommodations dyslexics need in school and in life, including advice on harnessing the innate strengths common to many dyslexics - creativity and resourcefulness - in order to change what people think is possible. After years of hiding his dyslexia, Ben Foss challenged himself to use it as a bridge to the rest of the world, realizing that if he could integrate his history and harness his strengths, he could thrive. Today, he's a renowned disability activist and the inventor of the Intel Reader, a mobile device that takes photos of text and recites it aloud on the spot to people who have difficulty reading.

Very few books actually have the power to change one's life. This one really may. A great accessibly written roadmap to embracing one's dyslexia rather than fighting against it. An invaluable resource for both adults struggling as well as parents of children with dyslexia. Great!

A great resource for parents and teachers alike. I love Foss's approach, and all of the tools he's provided!
