A little girl and her mother observe the passing of time through the holidays she experiences. It is quite a long story, so little ones may lose interest, but you might be able to keep them engaged by seeing if they can guess what season it is, or what holiday might come next. Although many of the holidays are Christian holidays, so if you don't celebrate them you may just want to pass on this one.
