Try not to spoil this movie for others. It really keeps you on edge wondering what happened and what will happen. And it has my name in the title.

No rating because I had to stop watching after about 20 minutes. I like Amber Tamblyn, but not this movie. The melodramatic buildups were heavy handed and seemingly endless.

I thought Amber Tamblyn was so cute in Joan of Arcadia but never really noticed her in anything else before The Russell Girl. She did a great job playing a young woman returning home with some serious complications in her life and unresolved issues from her past. Funny that at first I thought she was too young for the role, then to find out she was actually about 25 when making this movie. She still looks about 15 to me! Great story - definitely a tear-jerker. Recommended.

An interesting look into the bonds which can be broken/formed after tragedy strikes.
