Loads of fast-paced action, adventure, and fantasy! This final book finally reveals more on the complex individual that is May Bird. Intricate character development on Pumpkin and Lucius (I always felt that I didn't know too much about Lucius before, except for his mischievous nature, but this sheds new light on his character) I always find myself rereading this series, as it never get old (despite it being juvenile fiction)! 5 stars for an amazing end to the series! *****

Another wonderful adventure novel from Anderson! The story is still as fast-paced and gripping as before, if not more! It really helps to have read the previous May Bird books, as a lot of the events that took place in them play a significant role in this story.
