Add a CommentGrippando's big error in this book was the time line of when the events happened to Theo's mother. Not a big deal but since actual years were brought up constantly throughout the book you couldn't help but notice that things didn't add up.
This is getting to be worrisome because Grippando seems to be losing his direction here. A largely uninteresting story is what killed off any interest for me to read each page.
There's also some annoying cliches that are getting less subtle with each book...and that's the depiction of the main character- everyone is gorgeous, intelligent, top of their careers...etc etc. They're so perfect and yet there's one tiny flaw that somehow makes them human. I think JG's been watching too many soap operas...
Avoidable.
After reading most of Grippando's books, I've come to accept that he's not a "gifted" writer, just a proficient one. This last instalment of the Styweck and Knight duo is another example of just "okay" writing, story, plot, and dialogue
