Cunningham's classic introduction to Wicca is about how to live life magically, spiritually, and wholly attuned with nature. It is a book of sense and common sense, not only about magick, but about religion and one of the most critical issues of today: how to achieve the much needed and wholesome relationship with our Earth. Cunningham presents Wicca as it is today: a gentle, Earth-oriented religion dedicated to the Goddess and God. Wicca also includes Scott Cunningham's own Book of Shadows and updated appendices of periodicals and occult suppliers.

This was the first book on Wicca that I have read. This is a very good guide to becoming a witch or Wicca. I enjoyed the fact that he didn't claim to be the one true magical way. He lets you know that there are different types of craft and anything that doesn't follow the idea of "harm none, but do what you will" is not Wicca. This book has made my life more magical. If you have any questions about Wicca this is a great book to start with.

One of the books that I recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Wicca and modern Witchcraft.

All of Scott Cunningham's books are on my suggested reading list for anyone.

I'm not a Wiccan, but I really enjoyed this book. A friend, who is Wiccan, suggested it as a classic book in their faith. I'm glad I read it. The book explores the history and use of magic, as the author sees it, and it a good explanation to all those who don't know much or anything about the tradition why witches believe what they do.

No matter your spiritual tradition, you can learn a lot from the sheer mysticism found in this book. It will, as it did for me, help you to better understand you own faith.
