"There are some dead people whose company I would prefer over that of certain of my living acquaintances," Stone replied tersely.

David keeps you on edge throughout the Book good read
Plenty of suspense, twists and turns. Thoroughly enjoyed this book - particularly Annabelle's role in it. Have reserved "Stone Cold" in order to follow her deadly involvement with Jerry Bagger.
Very disappointing and with choppy writing. The heroes seem to arrive at their conclusions out of thin air. Not a very good read
Absolutely falling in love with this writer. Complete characters, well researched, intriguing plot and humorous events.
My first Baldacci book. It took a few chapters to hold my attention. But then I was hooked. I love the Camel Club. Could not wait to read about their next adventure.
Pretty good. Introduces Annabelle.
I love David Baldacci, and I love the Camel Club. Brilliant!
Another excellent book by David Baldacci. Lots of subplots in this one, including one that remains unfinished, and I am sure picks up again in the next novel in this series, called " Stone Cold ".I wasn't sure how the author was going to tie up all the loose ends as this novel got close to the end, but magically he does...all but one that is!!
I'm not a big fan of this series. I much prefer the King and Maxwell books.
