Read aloud to my kindergartener. He thought it was a laugh riot. We both loved the chapter titles and will look at each other at odd times, say "Shrink, Shrank, Shrunk" and laugh like crazy hyenas.
Warning to those who will read it to younger children -- the class pet does meet a sticky end! It wasn't an issue for us, but....
very funny book by michael
very funny and awesome to read!
Stink, the younger brother of Judy Moody, finally has a book of his own. And just in time, he is convinced that he is shrinking. But President's Day provides him with an opportunity to celebrate his shortness and that of James Madison, the fourth president of the US. And in a usual Stink way, his quest becomes all encompassing.
Cute early chapter book, with illustrations that will appeal to the starting reader. The male protagonist will also appeal to boys.
