THe Aunt Dimity books are fun and light yet engaging. It's best to begin with the first book as subsequent books follow on each other.

That is all explained in the first couple of books. If you go back and read the first one Aunt Dimity's Death, you will understand.

Hmm I am not sure about this book. I borrowed it out of order from the library out of curiosity. If I understand correctly, the main character speaks out loud to her journal, and a ghost of Auunt Dimity (her mom's deceased friend?) writes back in blue ink. ??? Easy reading, ok story but kind of a weird idea to have such a diary.

i never thought aunt dimity would go west, but she does!! this whole series has been fun & entertaining, never a dull moment!! the ghost of aunt dimity & how she communicates w/ a journal is so creative. i love being in england or america, wherever aunt dimity is :)
