Add a CommentThe book has been well loved (it's worn in the way that makes you think that lots of individuals have been able to be entertained by the wonderful tale of Totoro. I really love the details in the animation illustrations because they strike the right balance between realistic and cartoony. Totoro is a really, really adorable character who ends up being of great help to two young siblings. I like the basis in Japanese folklore (who doesn't like amazing stories?). It is very bright, and well organized. If you want to introduce younger readers to something new, or if you're looking to change your reading up, choose My Neighbor Totoro as your next read!
