Both morbid and funny, a great book for young, reluctant readers.

The last days of nineteen famous people, from Cleopatra to Mozart to Albert Einstein are included, with offbeat, but documented information about how they died in full gory detail. Each chapter also concludes with related facts about the…

Kind of reminds me of "They Lost Their Heads!" I really loved it. Good way to learn about famous historical figures.

Although this book is written to attract a younger audience, I really had a lot of fun reading this. It was both funny and informative. Read this book to learn how famous people ACTUALLY died. Spoiler, no, Cleopatra did not die from a…

If this book was published when I was in middle school, I would have checked it out over and over, memorized my favorite parts, and grossed out my big sister with the gruesome facts within. Most importantly, I would have learned a lot and…

I did love this book! I didn't think it was as gross at it was projected. It was very easy reading and I was done with the book in two days. The book is so informative and just a highly comical read. Do pick it up!

I enjoyed this book a lot! It had disturbing angd gross facts but I found it interesting. This book is a caudill book for 2013 and would work just great if you had to read a caudill book for school. In this book you learn facts of many…

Oftentimes a children's book makes good reading for kids and adults alike...and this is one of them! A great mix of history, humor, lore and gore regarding the demise of such famous people as Julius Ceasar, George Washington, Mozart, etc.

It's a set of full accounts of how a lot of old famous people died. Assuming I haven't just put you off by that sentence, I'm going to go ahead and say this is a great book.

Apparently it's a children's book. But I do not think so. Rather for teens. Still - any adult can enjoy it. There are interesting historical facts. Specific humor, because of which this book is more suitable for adults than for children.

It's a weird but interesting book. It's done with humor and dignity on how people who were famous passed away. Murders, diseases, and many other things happened to famous people. It's an interesting read.

Well, this book certainly doesn’t shy away from the gross details. I can picture middle schoolers the world over going “eeeuuuwwww!” when they read it. I was already familiar with how most of the people died (though I was surprised to…

At first I thought this would be too gorry for kids, but it is written with the right combination of humor and fact. Great for the person who likes a little gore with their history!
